Job opening - MWF PreK 3s teacher (part-time)
This part-time position requires a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 - 2:30 time commitment. The PreK 3s age level serves children who are 3 years old on or before September 1. PreK 3s classrooms have a staff to child ratio of 1:9.
- Applicants must have an associate degree (minimum of 60 hours of college credit) or higher.
- Applicants with three years of experience working within the context of early childhood and independent teaching experience at the preschool age level are preferred.
- Applicants with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field is a plus.
This position requires teamwork and the knowledge and application of early childhood best practices in the areas of curriculum, assessment, and lesson planning. Job opening - MWF 2.5s teacher (part-time)
This part-time position requires a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 - 2:30 time commitment. Teachers working with the 2.5 age level work in teaching teams as co-teachers. The 2.5 age level serves children who turn two years of age by March 1 and has a ratio of 2:10.
Applicants with an associate degree (minimum of 60 hours of college credit) or higher are preferred. This position requires teamwork and the knowledge and application of early childhood best practices in the areas of curriculum, assessment, and lesson planning.
Applicants with three years of experience working within the context of early childhood are a plus. A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field are preferred. The WDS is looking for substitute teachers! WDS substitutes are required to hold an associate's degree (or higher) and be able to provide care and instruction to children ranging in age from 9 months to Kindergarten.
