The purpose of The Weekday School at UPUMC is to build a strong, Christian foundation of love and learning in every child through nurturing and challenging them appropriately in all developmental areas.

Vision

We seek to create enthusiastic children who experience and exemplify God’s love. These children will gain leadership skills and sharing spirits through a cultivated zest for learning, allowing them to become the most of who God created them to be.

Curriculum

The goal of The Weekday School curriculum is to provide each child with meaningful learning opportunities to attain age-appropriate skills. The WDS curriculum is based on a thematic framework. Here, learning materials and activities are organized around specific age-appropriate units. Play is a central component of The WDS curriculum and is woven throughout each thematic unit. Through play, children attach meaning to the thematic learning experiences provided within our classroom, while also acquiring developmental skills.

School Hours

Monday, 9 a.m. - Noon
Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Office Hours

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Registration Process

Thank you for your interest in The Weekday School at UPUMC for the 2021-2022 school year.
Applications received between November 1, 2020 and January 8, 2021 by 3:00pm will have the same value in our application process.  After this time, all applications are timestamped in order of receipt.
